Please read this letter that highlights the need for parents to understand the dangers of misuse of social media and possible consequences for all involved.

The world is an exciting place with rapidly changing technology that creates fantastic learning opportunities for our children. For parents, sometimes these changes seem a lot different to what came and many internet based applications create a feeling of unease and caution. 

At Sacred Heart we believe that our role is to educate the children in our to get the very best out of the internet whilst remaining safe online. We aim to create an environment where children are able to be inquisitive and learn new and exciting things but also make informed decisions about the things they seek and share and the way that they do this and who they do it with.
